Art, Tourism, & the Creative Economy in Northern Namibia
Designed and led a three-day residential training in Nkurenkuru for 23 teachers from rural schools across Kavango West, showing them how to bring creative product development (idea, prototype, feedback, pitch) into subjects like agriculture, woodworking, and design & technology using only materials learners can actually find. Delivered under Art, Tourism & the Creative Economy (ATCE-II), a University of St Andrews funded programme run with HOTA (Home of the Arts); pre/post surveys recorded a 7% rise in teacher self-rated competence.
